I dont feel like loading a ton of crap for the kids if I come Friday nite. Can we park close to the campsites and sleep in the Yukon? I'll bring Show Me, but dont want to have to load camping gear up in and do the whole shpeel. I'd prolly be better off getting up early sat morning and cruising down?

Riley, theres an awesome hotel (cheap too) in Brentwood, 7 min from the launch and super comfy and nice...

its the hampton inn on brentwood blvd..

Dave- I dont think you can just tent camp. Im pretty sure you can only set up a tent if there is a motorhome/trailer on the site as well

Dave, You won't need to make reservations to put up your tent. You will be able to on the point. I have talked with Orwood and they know we will be coming out there this weekend and taking over the point. There will be room for your tent.

UPDATE - So far the weekend is looking to be EPIC. Warm weather and hopefully no w - i - n - d (don't want to say the word and jinks it).

Also if you’re looking for some new digs CIE will have some Gear available at Union Point and check out the new 2010 CWB gear along with being able to pick up some stuff if you’re looking.

Looks like there will be an Epic (Tony/Ben Carrol), new 21 MB Tomcat, Mastercraft CSX 220, and Axis 22 out there to check out if you’re curious to take a look. Also if you’re looking to try out what is said to be the newest trend for Wake then take a pull on the Mastercraft CSX 220 which Nor Cal Mastercraft will be giving some pulls.

So remember all the action at Union Point should be about 1pm and later party to follow if you’re up for it at Orwood. Restraunt will be open and good peps on hand.

OHHHH SHIZZZLle have to change the meeting point, Union Point just called and they are closed until further notice due to Sump Issues. So to stay in the same general area we have two choices 1- is Orwood, Food available and Bar or the other one that comes to mind Boardwalk Grill in Discovery Bay Marina. They also have outdoor and Bar.

Thoughts - lets decide and I will finish setting up the joint for the suspected crowd of WakeWorlders

Dave27 - I will be ther Friday and I am told just a few minutes ago that the long lost BG Kong (CIE team rider) will be out there hanging on Friday also. Plus you can almost guarantee that a crew will gather Friday afternoon.

Orwood it is for sure, They will have specials going on in the Restraunt starting at 1pm running through 4pm, and as I said previous I think we will also show some video's (if the projector and screen work out) during that time. Some guys will also have product available (CIE and CWB for sure) and you will be able to check out some new 2010 models of various manufactures and some will be offering wake testing if your interested. Later stick around for some WakeWorld/Delta style of social gathering. Good times this weekend for sure..

Isaac made reference to it above but just for the record, Union Point is closed for the weekend due to damage from the storm earlier this week.
The NVS "DTB" (Disturbin the Peace) VLX will be get'n wet about 10:30 and may have room for a rider or two.
In Disco tonight at 8:00 pm it's currently 75 degrees with a high of 81 today......zero wind all day. OctoButter! God I love this place.
