Any one know if you cant rent a private boat slip anywhere? Taking the RV and don't want to take the boat in and out.

If you stay in havasu springs you get a boat slip when you stay. I believe they are changing it to a membership type park... but you can stay pretty inexpensive if you listen to their sales pitch. We kept three boats in the slips over night with no problems.

Also look into Crazyhorse Campgrounds. No slips, but I think you can tie up in their "cove" overnight. You should be able to see your boat from the RV hook up.

There are a few places with slips for rent in the channel (Nautical & London Bridge Resort to name a few). Availability and restriction depend on the time of year you plan on going. I never felt comfortable leaving my boat in the water in the channel with all the yahoos running around during the summer.

Havasu Springs is nice, but it’s on the other side of the lake. It just depends on what you’re looking for.

Be careful in Crazyhorse, I know a few guys who have had stuff stolen out of there. If you are staying in the RV spots that sit directly above them, then you'll probably be ok.

They may have rental spots at the main Marina. It seems a bit more secure and worth a shot.

The main marina in Lake Havasu City is the best option. It's a secure marina that is locked at night and security guards. There's alot of money sitting in the water at the marina which calls for an increase in security. When I was there last I was able to put my boat in the marina for a week for $90.00 Probably a bit more today though. Well worth it for the security and convenience.
