Currently riding a 144 CWB Faction, it is a beginner-intermediate board with 2 fins on each side, and a mild rocker. Looking to upgrade to a little faster board with a little more pop and speed, tri-fin setup, steeper rocker. I really like the CWB bindings, have never ridden any other types of boards. Hoping for some recommendations, I would preferr to stay with CWB only because the clip-down bindings.

I am 6'1", 195 lbs...thanks for any recommendations.

you should look at the Liquid force lyman, its pretty fast, has decent pop, and really good landings, it doesnt have 3 fins, it has 4 on each end, yet it remains fairly loose. one of the reasons this is my favorite boards, is because while cutting, it stays locked in, but if you want to do a surface spin, or a board slide, it breaks loose witth no problem

I'm seconding the Lyman, I love it sooo much. Just like you said, locked on edge, super fun to do surface on tho, pops great, lands smooth, forgiving, damn i love that board.

new 2010 faction is dope! if you can wait till september, it has bevled edges so it rides sooo fast. my bud rode the new 210 after being on the transcend and kept telling us to slow down the boat cuz he wasnt used to the speed...so yea you should definitely wait for the 210...it is SICK, if not then the marius is what i ride and its pretty fast also. both are continuous rockers

I have not tried any of the obrien boards with the delta base, but every person i have known or heard of that tried one all agreed they made the board go faster than the previous models that did not have it. so maybe check that out.
the delta base is designed after the base designs on the hulls of speed racing boats
