I was wondering who has ridden this board and what changes were made from the 07? Is it worth it to get the platty?

I have the 08 platty but I have not rode the foam core. I don't know if it is really worth it to get the platty but I think that the foam cores would be more durable. I like the way that the board rides but I can't compare it to an older marius because I have never been on one. It lands pretty soft and pops very well, first continuous board that I have ever liked. It is not too fast and not to slow imo. I do like how loose it is and with the fin on it is still loose but alot easier to come into the wake with some steam. I think overall it is a great board and the platty is nice but I wouldn't have dropped the extra bones if it wasn't a warranty issue. I think that the foam core board just looks better too.
