Noticed alot of people with the TFD have switched to smaller fins, I'm interested in the same thing, but thinking about getting .8 P-Wings instead of the .7 A-Wings. I'm worried about the sharp edges on the A-Wing (my buddy already tossed the board in the boat and ripped up his vinyl, before i could warn him) thinking the P-wings would be better for that.

i've been riding the .7 a-wings but my friend is looking to put the p-wings on his tfd. i like the looseness of the .7's.

do you ride at claytor at tech? back in 99 i rode there a couple of times.

Ya I switched out my A-Wings for .8 P-Wings a long time back, it gives the board a much looser feel. I never had a problem with A-Wing tearing my vinyl though. Dont switch because of that, switch because you are going to like the ride of the board more with P-Wings. I would never go back to A-Wings, to grippy for me.

Wow just re-read my post, might need to proof-read some more.

Never made it to Claytor, parents lived around DC so any boating occured in Potomac/Occoquan during college.

Thanks for the input.
