Advice needed for the following products for a sub box?

Also, is 1" MDF that much better?

This one is a safe bet. I don't know anything about #3. If you can avoid using MDF, you should.

Birch is good to use and lighter than MDF. Resin coat it and it will outlast you owning it.

^^^ like he said birth. i wouldn't use mdf in a boat for some reason even with resin it still gets moisture and falls apart.

I build all of mine out of Azec. It's basically indestructible, totally impervious to the elements, and a joy to screw together - never spits, etc.

Is Azek more flexible than Birch?
Which would be stronger?

Im thinking about some HDPE. Its not cheap, but I don't to rebuild it.
