Ok...I'm building my own tower...kick ass, we just stole the exact designe from last years Mastercraft towers...bought the aluminum...and hmmm, only cost 300 dollars for it all, instead of 2000..but thats ok. We have only one problem left...how to we attach our rope...I can't find anything here (in spokane wa) that will work. All people have is eyelits! HELP!

I bought a 6" long piece of 2 1/2" o.d. aluminum round stock and took it to a local machine shop where they turned it on a lathe and concaved the base for easy welding to the tower pipe. Total cost was less than 50 bucks.

hitch ball it...weld a plate on the top of the tower, drill it out and throw your hitch ball on there...it works great.

Do it where it looks right, dont use the trailer ball. Like above get some rounds stock, and have it turned on a lathe. A machine chop can do it quickly and you will like it better.

Here's a rendered pic of my design for more reference.

This ball is for mounting on a tower, whereas the picture shown above of the computer screen is made for a pylon.
