I recently decided to wire one of my sac pumps directly to the dash through one the accessory switches. It works fine but when the accessory switch is on the pump is off and when I turn the switch off the pump turns on. Electrical guys please help!

The pushbuttons in my 95 are breakers but they function as regular switches. If yours are the same then you must have something cross wired. I run my pumps through my accessory switches and they work fine.

Is there a relay in the system? Electrically it is not possible for what you are describing if it is wired correctly. Ground the pump (-) and just wire the switch inline to the (+).
