As the weather outside continues to improve, I become more and more excited to head up to the lake. To temporarily fill the void in my life caused by not being out on/near the water, I figured I could just reminisce about our home. So here she is:

It is not much, but we love her. The house is less than 2000 square feet and only has 3 bedroom excluding a loft, but we still manage to sleep 16 people comfortably here. Probably my favorite feature (besides the 100ft of lakefront) is the 5 car garage across the street. This beast holds 3 boats, two jetskis, an atv, and other misc. stuff pretty easily. I know it may seem like Im bragging, but doing so gets me pumped for the coming months. If you have a home that you are proud of, feel free to post a picture and a brief description. Thanks for reading my rave and happy sailings.

Renting out the place on Lake Sammamish. Small cabin style house, but perfect. Our landlord is leveling the place to build his 5500 sqft shack when we move out. The place has a big deck, hot tub, dock with covered boat lift, PWC lift, diving board and imported sand for the beach. Have gone out 3 times since last Friday. It snowed yesterday, but it just got nicer out today. Thinking about taking a run. By the way I have a big $%!+ eating grin on my face as I am writing this.

Here a couple of pictures taken about 10 minutes ago.

I guess I'm lucky since I live on a lake all the time. Nothing beats riding any time you want!

onlyinboards,
how deep is it off the front of your dock where the nautique is parked. We have 190ft of dock and the water is still only 4ft deep off the end of it. It must be really nice being able to get away with such a short dock.

yep, it goes straight down. I'd say the bow is at about 4 feet and the platform at 12. Off the small dock on the left next to the pontoon is about 8 feet. Our cove was dredged to make it like this. We're in a no wake cove which is awesome for the kids and for chillin.

Here is our cottage in Sparrow Lake in Musoka. Particularly in Deep Bay (wake boarders heaven at non peak hours)

built 3 years ago by custom home builder in the area, designed by my father who is an architect in Toronto. This is our family "weekend home"

about 2600 sq feet.. 5 bedrooms, huge Living room, and quiet loft on third level.

Here is another cottage father designed on same bay for nice family. Renovation of their existing cottage, added a second floor and changed the floor plan. Great views from second floor. Completed last spring.

Last one is a cottage just being built on our bay. Renovation of existing cottage so that they could be grandfathered to their current spot close to water edge, otherwise you would have to move cottage back another 30'. Nice 3 bedroom place with french provence (sp) theme...

If anyone is looking for a new cottage to be designed in Muskoka, Kawartha's or Haliburton send me a e-mail and I will help you out.
