need some info, what should the expected price be for a 2008 loaded typhoon and is this a good boat all around price, size, and user friendlyness. looked at one the other day and liked it but i have not heard it talked about much

Around the $60,000.00 depending on you options. It is a stretched Avalanche. Good wake for wakeboarding and surfing. Loads of room for gear and people.

I would just get the Enzo sv230. Wider beam, deeper, nicer interior, etc... You should be able to get a fairly well loaded 230 for around 60k.

I don't think you are going to touch a nicely equpped Typhoon for 60k let alone a loaded up one. At least here in the Midwest you are not. If you are set on a Typhoon, go for it's a great boat with a ton of great features that won't diappoint, but the wakeboard wake is much better behind an Enzo. The Surf wake is very close to an Enzo but the Enzo will beat it out by a bit.

Again if you are set on a Typhoon the ride of the Typhoon is going to be better in the rough water, but I think you will find the Enzo excels in the wakeboarding and wakesurfing department. The typhoon won't disappoint at all, but the Enzo's wake characteristics are just a bit better in each category

i really liked the boat and it did have alot of room, im trying to upgrade to a bigger boat im not set on anything except a 23 footer looked at a malibu 23lsv liked it alot cause of the features but the typhoon seemed to be more solid in its ride and plus probably saving a few thousand dollars. but i did look at the enzo and im more attracked to the typhon than the enzo.

I love the Enzo, but I will have to contradict Swatguys comment on the wake. I am a bigger fan of the Avalanche/Typhoon wake, it is a very steep and wide wake that really kicks you, it literally take zero effort to get pop off of. The Enzo on the other hand has a very rampy wake with less lip and is very wide. I definitely love an Enzo, but I just like the Typhoon much better. As far as the price goes..I would say that the list price will be close to $70k and you could probably buy one for around $60k. Good luck with your purchase.

Look for Cincinnati's zip code and follow the trail to the local Centurion dealer. Going into boat show time, he had a white with blue metal flake tribal graphic 07 that you could haggle for $50K. Had the essentials: ballast 3, PP, stereo (no tower spks), bimini. I think they moved their loaded Avalanche that was the same price. Before show they had a blowout price of either $54k or $56k.
PM me and I can send you their exact website. Where are you located?

yes they still have it. very nice boat and great dealership if you are in the area.

I agree above about a demo boat. I just bought my Avy and there were bugs with the boat, but second time out they were all gone. Great price and nothing to fiddle with. Save a few hundred on the 20 hr service too (mine has 19hrs). 6 hrs from me test riding.

Loaded 08 Typhoon will sticker over 70k and you can probably pick one up for about $64k. Look for an 07 or demo. If it were me, I'd go with the Avalanche or if I had to have that extra foot, buck up for the Enzo.

Reason I sate the Enzo's is a littel better is that it isn't so finiky. I will agree with you CBK Nate that the shape and style of the wake behind a Typhoon is more towards the line of the Avy and the Cylone, 2 of my personal fav's BTW. But the Enzo's is easier to keep that litte froth from ocuuring at the lip when not weighted exactly correct. However the Enzo's is also a rampier wake than what the old originals like the Avy, Cyclone, Elite C4 and Typhoon that got them started. BUt the Enzo with the Switchblade and some ballast has stepped that boat up. I think without the Switchblade the Enzo's wake would def be behind the Typhoons and the others, and also be just above average, but with that Switchblade it has given the Enzo some great characteristics. I used to not be a fan of the Enzo for the reasons CBK Nate stated till I got behind one last season with the Switchblade. Gave it that extra little umf in the shape.

I think the Enzo is best this year with the 5 tank option. We will have one for a demo this year and I will definitely be excited to ride behind it. The Switchblade does make an incredible difference. The Enzo is somewhat like an X-Star, it needs some extra weight because of it's size. One big advantage to the Enzo is the fact that you get the best of both worlds as far as wakeboard and wakesurf wakes go.

We had an 05 Avalanche and now have an 07 Enzo 230. The Typhoon is an Avalanche plus 1 foot longer. As everyone has said the Avalanche and Typhoon wake is very vertical, hard and a great lip for pop. The Enzo is a much longer transition with a solid lip. The Enzo needs additional weight to make it really big. It is not near as sensitive to weight placement as the Avalanche.

Good prices on those demo boats. I love demo's, had the kinks worked out and the depreciation hit is much easier to take.

I saw a CC 230 at the boat show MSRP $100K and "Show Price" of $76. I saw an X15 for $70K. The LSV That I saw was $74K. So, 50 and change for a 23 foot V-drive with full warrantee seems like a smoke'n deal to me!

I really want to get an Enzo but I’m not pulling the trigger until my Mighty Centurion Lightning has been sold. That’s a tough wait.

I was going to get a typhoon when they came out to replace my avalanche but could not get one in time for the start of the 06 season.

To avoid the wait, I ponied up and got a loaded Enzo. Never been happier! Swatguy nailed it. With the blade the Enzo wake is as good as it gets!

Thanks for the compliment Team CBK. I really don't want to sell it, but I want to get a new one. Its funny though because everyone that has been inerested in it are huge Dawg fans.

What kicks on that boat for me is the silver flake "pin line" on the muffin top. That little bit of bling just pops.

Thanks Fellas. I mulled over those colors for weeks. I almost went with the all red and Black Metal Flake Tribal Graphics.

Ed, Centurion told me they were going to do the thicker pin line on the deck and I really didn't thick it mattered, but I was shocked how much better it looked. The only thing I warry about is the red fading on me. I keep it waxed with a good marine wax twice a year. The only time it is in the sun is on weekends so hopefully it will be OK. I have had it going three years and it still looks as they day I got it.

Thanks again for the compliments.
