2012 Malibu 247 LSV. 24 Bullet 7.7s HLCDs powered by 6 Digital designs SS2 amps. 2 9512 powered by a DD M4 and 1 DD 3512 powered by a DD M1, 10 stinger batteries. Needless to say its STUPID LOUD.

That's crazy! Looks cool if u were a stereo shop showcasing an install. But at what point did those speakers start canceling each other out? 3rd pair? As a consumer and someone with very little time to fiddle with boat audio, I think I'd have put up a 2 pair of larger hcld's. Saved some$$$, wouldn't look so gawdy, and spent far less time cleaning the bugs from that chromed out tower. As far as over the top? Looks great from that perspective!

So why 2 9512's and then throw in a 3512? I want to see the amp rack's and sub boxes.
A m4 one a pair of 12's must be insane.

This is not my boat but a customers at a friends audio shop. I agree its a little much but when a customer wants to spend 30K on an audio system its hard to argue with them. The 9512s are in the back hatches and the 3512 is under the steering wheel.

Looks almost as pointless as his triple axle trailer.

So those amps are sitting on floor unprotected from water above and beneath....that's a recipe for disaster!

I don't think water is a problem when no one actually wakeboards behind the boat.... Looks like a "Show Boat" to me...

Awesome that there is 2 sets of board racks but it looks like they are unusable because there are speakers right in front of them. I really hope it is just a show boat.

It's like a poker game of "Shame Full Towers"
I see your 50 pairs of speakers and Raise you, 2
4foot wide HCLDS and 20 pairs of speakers.
2 train Horns. 6headed beer bong and a Stripper pole.

Man I thought I had seen it all with the Barefoot Sanger with a Tower with no less than "4" 6- 6x9 speaker boxes hung all over it. Or the "Ya Heard Me Boat" all is I can say is "Texas baby"
Mabey this is Un-Lon-ables buddy,

We need to have a Tread that's a sticky that has all the classic w/w photos of all time.
This boat needs to be one of them

The boat itself is gorgeous.

Exactly half of the tower speakers and it's perfect. Bet she screams.

I agree with the first part. That silver metal flake with black hull bottom and deck is amazing looking.

Wow that is crazy!! Even if I had the money I would not put that many speakers on my boat. ....... Can you image the size of the TUBE his guy is going to be pulling up and down the lake. It will probably big the Biggest Tube Known to Man Kind. Extreme Tubing with a flat screen TV and a Wet Bar. All joking aside that is a beautiful boat and I like the color scheme.

I'm pretty sure I saw that boat this weekend at possum kingdom lake, I don't remember it having that many speakers though.

I bet the sound of all those 7.7's is BRIGHT!

I'll be honest, I'd really love to hear that thing. I cannot imagine how loud that thing is.

The boat itself is gorgeous for sure, the tower speakers are obviously overkill and nothing I would do but to each his own.

Oh yeah I dig the tow rig too

Damn, didn't notice the ford dually that is lifted with semi sized rims. sick

^^and looks like matching paint on the bottom.

What I don't get is who listens to their music that freakin loud all the time. Do you all wear ear muffs and use sign language to communicate. I don't have a tower set up anywhere near that and it's more than what I need. Then again I hate being that guy on the lake that has their music so damn loud you can hear it anywhere you are.

I hope that guy doesn't surf.... If he gets that boat leaning too much, I think it's going all the way over with that much weight on the tower!!!
Old     (Thrall)      Join Date: Oct 2010       07-10-2012, 1:35 PM Reply
Well at least he didn't go overboard and put like 26 speakers on the tower or sumthin crazy like that!!
Old     (baitkiller)      Join Date: Jan 2010       07-10-2012, 1:39 PM Reply
My dick is still bigger. Doesn't matter how many speakers you have.

I don't really see the point; I'm sure that tower is about impossible to fold down. Overkill for sure, but I've seen far worse done to a boat. I really don't like how the amps are mounted - a wet disaster just waiting to happen.

I'm okay with the tripple axle trailer, but only on wakeboats that big and bigger. I think it looks pretty good on the X55 and X80.
Old     (wakebrdjay)      Join Date: Apr 2008       07-18-2012, 7:22 AM Reply
The amps are that way cause it probably never gets wet.Unless it's caught in a rain storm.

It's obviously rediculous but it looks freakin scary in a good way.
I think we just found the next bad ass Decepticon for Transformers 4 on WW.

I can think of many many better ways to spend 30k.

I just looked up the specs on the amps that are powering the Bullets and they're severely under powered:
65x2 @4OHM
120x2 @2OHM
260x1 @4OHM BRIDGED

I only have 225 watts going to each of mine and they eat it up.

On a side note, whenever I see this picture I always wonder if he could have gotten away with just 20 of them
Old     (hatepain)      Join Date: Aug 2006       07-18-2012, 1:25 PM Reply
I take that back. I found those specs in two different spots but the website indicates that the SS2a makes 600x2 at 2ohms so 150 per speaker which is adequate.

Maybe a previous model was SS2 not 2a.
