Well, finally pulled the trigger and drove 1975mi round trip to get her but she's in the barn and all ours now. Props goes out to the guys at Waterski America in Dallas Tx, Todd & Frank, great to deal with, test drive w/Shawn, excellently done, very knowledgeable and helpful, right down to Scott who with Shawn made sure all was ready for her trip back to Indiana. Cudos to them, great experience. Also a shout out and props to the audio specialist they use- Tim at Scream Marine in Dallas, he has answered many questions and provided me with manuals and all details of the sytem instal the original owner had done. Kenwood head unit with 3 remotes, 4-650
Wetsounds on the tower,4 Wetsounds interior, Audison 5 channel amp, Arc Audio sub.W Sounds 420EQ. It is awesome, instal very clean and no loose ends. It was worth the drive and I would do it again.
Color scheme is mellow Charcoal/white, doesn't blow me away, but at least not something funky. Sure looks good on the water and behind my silver truck. These folks at Mailbu sure do it right, the amenities in the boat are great and alot of well thought out stuff. Gettin on the water this weekend. Thanks to all those who gave me some advise over the past 6mo.

Great looking boat. Did you have the graphic between Wake and Setter removed? Can you move them together or would you have to get all new graphics? I believe the 07 Silver edition VLX's had that basic graphic but with it bunched together. either way. Great, classic looking boat.

Gettin the WS logo that goes in between there, or just the W, both,... to see which looks better. I like the logo in there, original owner did not for some reason.
Thanks, I was kinda iffy on just the charc/wh w/black lines but it looks great in the sun. Heck,it just looks great to me as I am thrilled to have a VTX.A buddy did some photoshop type graphics program stuff and put some silver pin stripes along the black accent lines and it perked it up some. I've been out playing with the stereo settings, xover's ect... man this system hammers. I plan on adding another Audison amp for just the WS650's on the tower, that should get them moving a little more.

Heck no R F,,, sittin still in the boat with system cranked makes it feel like wind blowin thru the boat. It is crisp, clear and clean. It's safer in the boat than in my sales car anyway.Vibrated stuff off the shelves in the barn tonite, with all garage doors closed ect... my neighbor 1/3mi down the road called asking if I was having a party, reply,,, "maybe". He said he could tell the songs I was playing. I have had some nice stereo stuff in the past,(Alpine,Hi-Fonics,Memphis)... but this Audison amp is the clearest, cleanest I have ever heard.

Congrats on the new ride! Tim at Scream Marine and his son have been a big help to me this summer as well. One question though, am i the only one that thinks the "wake" decal is sitting crooked?Love the colors in this thing. Enjoy!

The entire decal kind of looks arched or crooked. I say go clean. No decals except the Stainless Malibu logo towards the back. Oh yeah, I think I would also do something different for the registration numbers. They are very easy to read and legal but a nice boat like that deserves nice domed or some sort of fancy stickers. I would do something outlined with silver or metallic white raised letters and put it below the rub rail on the black.

That's an awesome boat to be proud of for years to come.
I disagree with Mr. Yates. That boat without the Wakesetter decals may look bland. If the boat was one solid color from front to back, the clean look would be nice, but with that many angles and designs that go from front to back, the decals look great. The Wakesetter decals on that boat are the best Malibu ever came out with IMO.
Good job with that boat. I haven't personally met a VTX owner yet who was disappointed with their boat for what they paid.

Although I agree with Mr. Yates about the reg numbers. Its amazing how simple reg number designs can upgrade the entire boat. It's like rims on a car, or shined shoes. It makes the whole package look better!

Thanks for all the replies.Indiana requires Reg#'s under the rub rail. I plan to get numbers and letters done that match the Malibu font and color on the WS logo.Got some good print/banner shops around the area so hopefully they can come up with something sharp. If anyones good with photoshop ect... ideas appreciated.
