I've been riding the ERA's for a few years because they are made for narrow feet.

i'm looking to upgrade to a closed toe boot, probably watson's, and need advice on fit.

i'm a 10.5 shoe, so i need a 10-11 bindings, but i'm concerned it will have too much width inside.

should i get open toe, 9-10, to fit more snug?

any advice appreciate.

My Slingshots are pretty good... I use to have Eras a while ago too for the same reason.

The D2's have a inner bootie that heat molds to your foot -- then the ankle harness that locks you into the booties -- then the bootie is held super snug into the outside boot.

The inner liner with the ankle harness works like a dream keeping your foot locked down in the boot

Can you try them on? I would go for the 9-10 if the footbed is not too short for you.

I second the LF Shanes. They're too narrow for my foot, so I went with the Watsons.

the new Audio binding is Eric Ruck's new closed toe boot...that may be a good place to start if you have been riding the Era's

I also wear a 10.5-11 shoe, but have a narrow foot. I went with the 9-10 Shane's, and they fit perfect.

Definitely go for any of the ronix bindings (cell or one). I have very narrow feet, and I was swimming in the watsons and 3DS closed toe. The beauty of the Ronix binding is it's specific sizing. The fit is Precise because you can go out and buy a size 10 and heat mold it your foot rather than buy a size large which covers like 4 or 5 sizes. Also definitely go for size 10.. once you mold them the cushion compresses and you get a little more room. I'm a size 9 and I wear a Ronix Cell size 8.

No joke dude... just got the 2008 Shanes and was BLOWN away by the contact between my foot and the binding. And i have VERY narrow feet. Absolutely amazing... and i thought the 07 Shanes and 07 3DS boots were good... I'd try em out if you can man! They fit great!
