My wife is looking for a new board and I think the CWB Lotus 131 would be good for her. The only thing is it might be too small for her. She is 5'-6" tall and around 115 lbs. She rides a 133 right now. Don't have access to demos. Thanks for any opinions.

The Lotus 131 is a great board and is good for up to 130lbs.
The next board up is the CWB Sapphire and its good for up to 160lbs and is a 134cm.

My wife just got the 07 Lotus 131 and she's 5'4" and at or slightly above (or well below if she's reading this) the 130 limit and doesn't have any issues at all. She was riding a 134 and likes the 131 better.

Thanks for the info, I think she is going to go for it.

I got my daughter an 06 with 07 Factions because she liked the colors better than the 07. I liked the price better too. My wife rides it also. I can't speak of their weight, but lets just say your wife should be be fine with one.

Where did you find the '06?

I too ride the 2006 Lotus and love it! The stats on WakeWorld say that the weight range is up to 140lbs. I'm 5'3" and 112 lbs. very smooth ride with or without the fins! I got my setup at BoatersOutlet.com I'm not sure if they still have them in stock cuz I got it last year. But I was messing around online and saw that evogear.com had them with the Torq hinge bindings. Good luck!

It was a left over at my local boardshop. They had one more left when I got it. It was a blem/demo board in near perfect condition. I think I paid $140 for the board and $259 for the bindings. $399 total I think. If you are interested, I could go check and see if they still have the other one.

That would be great. We just dumped a bunch of unexpected money into the boat and can't afford an '07.

Thanks
