This is going to be a slow evolving show of Italy.....
We flew into Milano (Milan) and rented a little VW Polo which is kind of like a VW Golf only smaller, but about an average size car for Italy. We drove into Milano for a great first lesson on driving in Italy. After about an hour and a half of driving in circles, motor scooters and motorcycles whizzing by us, and cars everywhere, we decided we were lost and should find our way back to the autostrata and start over with a new plan to find our hotel. We found it no problem the second time around. It was late, so we grabbed some pizza, wine, and dessert at a great little place near our hotel so we could get a good night sleep for our drive to Venezia (Venice).
On our way the next morning, we decide to take a little detour to Verona....we visited the Duomo.....
We then made our way to Venezia (Venice)....The Grand Canal....
It doesn't take much to get lost in Venezia....which we did....
It's an unbelievable place and if you don't put it on your list of must visits, you need your head examined....
