Just a reminder that the Minneapolis Boat Show will be running from January 20-24, 2010. Right now most major inboards will be represented and there will be a slide jam by step up productions. We are working on getting either JD Webb or Eric Ruck in the house, Shane Bonifay is a maybe too. I'll try to keep you posted as things become definative!!! Upload

I will be there, I look forward to it every year. I heard that it is scaled back a lot though. Like 2/3 the space will be used this year. That doesnt say a whole lot because the place is huge and it sould like most of the inboards will be there, at least the 3 major ones that I know of.

The guys from Minnetonka Marine who sell a few Tige's a year will not be there. Talked to one of their sales guys a few weeks ago. He said something about some boat "parade" or something that they were going to do this year.

I'm sure the economy will change the boat show as it has everything this year.

Yes, much smaller than years past but in a way its just weeding out some of the duplicates. From what I hear MasterCraft, Malibu, Correct Craft, Supra and Moomba will be there.

We're gonna have 11 boats again this year as well as the pro shop. I'm not sure what the other guys are bringing but it should be a good watersports show.

Heard you unloaded the Epic Chad.

Hey Mox, I'll keep my eyes peeled for any tix. As of right now they are being pretty stingy with them.
Old     (tuneman)      Join Date: Mar 2002       12-18-2009, 9:58 AM Reply
Yep, sold the Epic. Gonna miss her, but I'm looking forward to another boatless season again:-)

Don and Charlie, I can hook you guys up with free tix. Just let me know if you want 'em. (Sorry gang, only have two extra passes.)

I usually go Thursday or Friday, but I'm open. The weekends are typically so busy that you never get the opportunity to hang around Corey and annoy him:-P

When I get Liz's schedule, I can narrow it down, but we usually get lunch in the downtown area and go to the show until after rush hour. I will let you know what day we plan to attend Chad, thanks for the offer :-)

step up productions is sick!but it sucks because the place that holds it in nashville wont let em come down(probably cause of price issues).

Looks like Eric Ruck, Josh Palma and Adam Errington will be at the jam. We're hoping to get one more pro yet, I'll let you know if we do.

How deep is the pool?? Maybe you guys could have a hydrofoil demo too!
Old     (snowboardcorey)      Join Date: Jan 2004       01-06-2010, 12:45 PM Reply
Ha ha, yeah I don't think the pool will be deep enough for foiling they'd need a bass tank for something like that!
Old     (tuneman)      Join Date: Mar 2002       01-06-2010, 1:39 PM Reply
Charlie, you'll just have to bring your foil with the vertically challenged t-bar.
