I want to buy an Aerial Freeride tower for my Tige 21V. I'm a bit nervous about installing it myself and would like to know who can do it and how much?

I didn't order it yet, want to know who, when, where, how long, and how much first...

Do it yourself dude - it's easier than you think.

Tey have good instructions and an online tutorial and there is a lot of stuff on youtube.. You need very basic tools to make it happen - we did mine (Aerial) in about 3.5 hours,.

I have one on my boat, you might want to take a look at it first. It might make you change your mind. I wish I could have seen one in person before I purchased, uninstalled old tower and installed the freeride. Would have never bought it.

I bought an Aerial Assault and a friend and I installed it. I am very happy with my purchase and install. There is only one boat place in my area and they wanted $1000 to install it. Which I thought was too high. So I decided to install it. I was a bit nervous, so I just double and triple checked our measurements before we drilled the holes. In the end it took a little longer than I had anticipated, but turned out very well.

Install it yourself. I just bought and installed my first tower. It was soooo easy. Took less than 1 (yes one) hour to install.

Tjay - why don't you like it? I saw your thread and the other thread with photos of one on a 2100V (same as my 21V) I thought it looked really good on that boat. Are there mechanical issues with the Freeride?

Anyone know why the Freeride tower is a bad idea? Tjay?

Mixed reviews.. It's really tall and looks funky on shallow boats..

Some people have said it sways and creaks when it's windy/choppy..

Some say it's solid. I had an aerial airborne and had great luck with it.

Keep your money here in the US.. Look at some tower manufacturers that build their product here.. Lets quit sending our money overseas and get back to American made..

Just because It's American made doesn't mean that it's good. Maybe 25 years ago it meant that but today American's society is a bunch of lazy idiots that think they should be paid way more than their worth. Plus who knows if you would get a product made on a Monday or Friday and didn't put the proper amount of quality work into it. Very few people put pride in their work anymore and are there just to make a paycheck, it's sad. And I would put my money on a foreign worker putting in more effort than an American any day. And I'm an American. Just my opinion though. Don't rip me a new A$$hole

Robert tell that to the guys in the industrial construction industry that mistakenly buy counterfeit Chinese shackles that not only don't withstand their safety rating but don't even lift their rated load. One example of many that lots of junk comes from overseas. Some things I agree doesn't make sense to buy or make here.

Not sure if they are still in business, but when in 2004 when I was living in Sacramento I had Loud Liquid put a tower on a '98 Malibu Sportster. It worked very well and lasted perfectly for the 6 years I had the boat. I am sure I could find a picture if you would like.

They're out of business. Boss is too and he won't build me a one off either. Lightning is just rediculous - and I don't even want to be reminded of how he treated me over a UTV cage...

So, here I am... back to looking at the Aerial Freeride and looking for experiences with it.

I have the Airborne and I like it. We have gotten many compliments on how nice it looks, especially when you add Aerial's bimini top to it.

I've heard several good things about the Airborne as well. I'm probably going to just take a chance on the Freeride. It looks great on my boat in photos I've seen. Just hope it doesn't wobble much.

You can contact Ariel directly as well to find a shop that will install in your area.
