Was looking on ebay and noticed tons of Ronix board that had surface cracks around the binding mounting holes. Whats up with that, why are there so many blem boards. I assume it wouldnt effect the ride of the board. Whats everyines feeling on these baords. Can get a killer deal and supposedly they are all brand new in plastic

i have bought a lot of hyperlite blems over the years and rarely could even find the blem.... they were usually cosmetic so i donno about the cracking issue

its the clear coat that they put on the top of the boards, they had a problem with cracking if it was laid on to thick, shouldn't hurt the ride at all and then if/when it gets worse just warranty it

i understand cosmetic blems.... but unloading boards with glass cracking etc.... is lame. and it bypasses local dealers....

too much of this stuff happening in the small fragile industry.

FYI, many times blems are not under warranty. Just my experience.

its not glass cracking, it's nothing but a clear gloss sheet on top of the board. you can peel it off and the board is still fine underneath it. entirely just a graphical blem

Those boards will look at lot worse after they get ridden, we have one come back to our shop and it was everywhere on the board, basicly when the board flexs it cracks even more.
