Ryan i have been lucky enough to go to alot of places but Japan was amazing the architecture, history, the food and the people are so friendly (quite a change after coming home to socal). One of the coolest things ever is that everyone and i mean everyone has SLR's with l-series lenses they had a camera shop that i spent about an hour trying out every canon lens they had...i definitely know what i'm replacing my 28-135 with!!!

Ryan, The blur on the "Friend's Eye" shot seems impossible from a lense. Did you do it in PP?

Nope, minus a little bit of a contrast boost and some sharpening that is strait from camera. It's amazing how shallow things get when you get up close. It was actually at f11

Randy Murray, That bridge in Japan kind of looks like a local bay area bridge.

New to photography. These were some of the first shots with my new ti1 with the kit 18-55 lens. please tell me what ya think. These were taken while on a snowboarding trip in park city, but I didn't take this camera up on the hill.

Dj, cool shots. Good call on not takin the T1i on the hill. I've taken mine out a few times to do some filming in the terrain park, and man is it sketchy! i'm nervous about it pretty much the whole time haha

Walt, I thought it was funny how many things looked like something else...from the Statue of Liberty, The Rainbow Bridge (Golden Gate), The Tokyo Tower (Eiffel Tower) Times Square clock tower (Big Ben)...and on and on and of course all the teenagers dress like westerners also
