Amps

I am looking for an amp for my boat. I've got 4 stock Clarion speakers and a Clarion CMD4 deck. I don't have a tower (so obviously no tower speakers), and just want a louder, cleaner, crisper sound. I have been looking at the Clarion APX480M 4 channel amp and was wondering if anyone knows about this or had any other suggestions. I'm definitely a stereo novice and just want a better sound. Just seeking suggestions or comments. Thanks.

Add an amp, add a sub, cross things over so the stock speaks don't see below 150hz and that should clean things right up.

would suggest a jl 300/4....sounds good, reliable, and cool running..
