Just as the title says, thats what i'm trying to do. This is going on a 2003 sea ray 195 bow rider. It does NOT have an existing pylon. I had the idea of using the rear two D-rings but i think the angle would be to small between the cables which wouldn't give support when a rider is outside the wake. I have the base plate, pylon, and front cable figured out, but am stuck on the rear cable supports. Im pretty sure the rope cleats aren't strong enough either...........Any ideas?

PS: This is my dads boat im borrowing for the summer which is why im not putting a tower on it

We used rear rope cleats on the old boat, worked fine, you may need to reinforce, but we didnt and it was good.

it can be done... I did it for my old bayliner.

We used the two lifting rings in back with success, but found just as good and easier just using the cleats. and also the front lifting ring... I think you can find pics here...

Thanks alot for the replies. I was doing more research and came across
Has anyone heard of them or if they are worth the money? I am seriously thinking about copying the design which would save me alot. Any suggestions?
