Calibrated Telum design changes

Judy won a new Telum for placing second in the Women's master's division at the WWSC. I got a chance to look at the design changes to this board up close.

Not a great picture, but the rails are now wrapped and have some shape to them. This is of the lefthand rail looking forward from the tail.

I couldn't get a decent picture, but the board has two ABS blocks in the core to allows drilling for adding fins (got a drill press?! :-)

). By drilling holes through the deck, the board could be configured with one, two or three fins.

Texilium is the biggest waste of money in composites. It might look nice but doesn't add any strength or stiffness over regular eglass at 1/10 the price. (but adds weight).

what is the thickness of the board ?

Caddywampus, eyeballing it at 3/4".
