what is the difference in wake surfing and wake skateing??

I'd say the difference is pretty big. Wakesakting is wake boarding without the bindings, right. While wakeskating you attempt tricks skateboard like kick-flips and shov-its. You ride at about 20 mph holding on to the tow rope. Wakeskates are fairly small.

Wakesurfing only requires a rope to start, once your up you drop the tow rope or throw it back into the boat and ride at about 10 mph. Wakesurfing is much more like surfing than wakeboarding, the wake of the boat literally pushes the wakesurf board. You’ll ride only on one wake, there is no wake-2-wake surfing. You can boost some air but it’s much more difficult than getting air on a skate or wakeboard. Wakesurf boards are comparatively large.
