Just wanted to say congrats to my two favorite riding buddies Daryl Case and Mark "speedy" Buttita for taking 1st and 2nd place in the California Firefighter Olympics today at Coyote Lake in San Jose.

Way to represent NorCal firefighters you guys!

I was going to compete but I had a dodge ball injury from the day before.

was it a dodge ball injury or drinking injury, you seemed to ride pretty well last night!!

I was going to compete too but seeing as wake 2 wake is my only trick I don't think I would place too well....

Congrats fellas

Thanks andy, and nice run this weekend.

Matt, maybe Sunday?

Michael, California Fire Olympics does have wakeboarding. Daryl stomped his winning pass with a tantrum, TS frontroll, HS backroll, TS backroll, scarecrow, raley, and I think he got a backside 180 in there. Not a pro run but there was a lot of good riding from guys who have full time jobs.

chilidog, there are novice, intermediate, and advance. Sign up next time. It's more about having a good time and meeting other riders.

To everyone that came out and rode today thanks from all of us at Boat Country. Sorry we took off without saying goodbye but we were not sure how much longer the surfing would be. It was a great day with great riding. And great lunch. Thanks again.

Dang it my cover is blown thanks chilidog. I would have definitely taken novice gold with my patented 230 to head smack(HS 3 attempt). Next year for sure. Congrats to all.

You fire fighters know how to have a good time. I had a great time judging and getting to know alot of you. Big thanks to Matt for pulling things together and getting those Chipolte Burritos - they hit the spot.

Great riding too. Daryl - you killed it, minus the nut pinch from that butt checked raley. At least you pulled it out. Wear your metal proudly. Hope to see you out on the water.
