I think his yacht is some where around 40' and we were doing 12 knots. Apparently the wave really cleans up at 16 knots....maybe next time! Anyway there was a huge surface area to carve up....it was great! BTW this is a twin direct drive.Upload

I have always wanted to surf a yacht. Looks like yall had a blast! The one thing I havent yet. I saw some vid on Youtube of Slater behind one, no idea on the size of the yacht, but they were movin' and Kelly was chargin it.

I've got a friend with a Formula 49 and haven't been able to convince him it's worth the gas. We got lapped by a ~40ish SunSeeker this weekend and our wave was bigger than theirs!

Even it that is an I/O They are like 20 feet back. Not saying it is safe. But probably not gonna full from that far back and come any where near the boat. I am going to surf behind a 90ft yacht that is being built in Ft. Myers right now. I will post some pics when it happens.
