looking into putting some LED light rights on my speakers either this summer or next winter but have yet to see any of them one exile speakers. anyone out there running LED'S on exiles? i guess i could. use any 6.5 right for the interiors but the way the grills are mounted on the tower speakers it might be difficult

For the in boat speakers its not difficult at all -

Here are pics of the old-school SX65s (excuse the dirty floor, middle of the install)

Those are 3/4" thick rings behind the speakers and SMD LED strips around the tweeters inside the grilles.

Here's a Big12 with a 3/8" thick ring and green LEDs - I still need to make the faceplate, this was just to get it up and running in my buddies LSV;

Here is how I did the SX65Ms in my 2013 Outback V;

5050 SMD RGBs around the tweeter;

3/8" ring with 5050 SMD RGBs;

This is how the rig fits the speaker;

Ready to mount!

looks good. still up in the air about it tho, with 8 interior speakers and 8 towers it looks like its going to be expensive just to have some lights ill use about 3 times a year lol
