Two basics: Don't curl into the fetal position. Look up - at the horizon, not down at the water. Spot landings with your eyes, not your head and torso. These items will allow you to spin easier and with greater stability. Spend the cash to work with a coach for a couple of hours. Then work on just a few items for the next few weeks and repeat. Get the basics down cold and then you will progress much faster. Body position and handle control will lead to every other move.

On that press in the 2nd photo really try to bend one knee all the way and straighten the other out. Also what Karl said about looking up. Try also pin your shoulders back more. It'll give you more stability and looks better. It'll be more tiring for the first few sets as your work upper back more but long term it will make riding less tiring as you use larger muscle groups than your arms.

Also check out http://Shredtown.com or http://vimeo.com/norbiv for some winch/cable edits. These guys all have loads of style
