Thanx for the welcome. We have had it for just over a month and got 14 hrs on her in 7 trips. My wife and I have been talking about buying for a while. Went to look at boats one sunday afternoon. We were looking for a green boat. Found this on sale about 7k less than the next comparable v-drive on the lot .The price was right and it was green. Made a deal and they delivered it the following friday. For our first family boat it's perfect! Here is a pic...let me know what you think.

Thanx rich, I love the color to.The dealer said that green is a hard color to sell.Said it takes the right person and my son says-"that would be us"- The green welting on the 2 tone interior is cool.I will post some wake pics of last nites trip soon.Water was perfect and only saw about 8 other boats. Nice!- We usally go for 3-5 hrs.So by the time u ride, hangout, eat, change riders and cruise around u only get about 1/2 that much time on the hr. meter. One more trip and it should ready for 1st oil change.

Kenny, nice boat! Love the green. The only thing I would have changed on mine is to have white flames on the green instead of the ghost flames on green. Hey-I just realized you have no Sanger logos. Cool. Did you take them off or order it that way? I was thinking of taking mine off also. Less is more...you gotta be different.Looks great.

I also changed the steering wheel to a leather wrapped billet with flames in the center, made a custom MP3 holder, re did the back hatch flames to match, and recently did the straps that open the back hatches, made them wider and stronger as mine fell apart, and chaged the shifter knob. This was all be Sanger came out with Billet package (which was my idea to Scott)

Kenny how aboutmore info on the rear hatch straps that you redid. One of my kids buddies ripped one of mine off after only three months. Interested in some ideas to beef them up but the only thing i could come up with are stronger struts or maybe 2 struts to help lift.

The straps are 2 inches wide, triple pattern. Lucky I am in the Navy cause my boys who are PR's hooked me up..

just incase yes the flame is the same factory pattern just took me 3 months to find the exact color to match the int. Its not Kaw green but rather Lime cooler green.

Nice job looks beefy. I imagine they still have the nylon strapping in the center. Any leftovers or idea where a guy might get some. Nice job on the flames too. You added that after the fact? You must have taken them to an upholstery shop or am I wrong again.

got the strap material from sanger so that it matched perfectly, Silver Cloud which nobody had, I did have to buy a roll.
As for the Flames I took the deck lids to a friend's dad who does custom car upholstery. All I had to do was get the material, 3months for an exact match, some beer and he did it in his free time, 3days..

I had to do the flames, just plain white flames did not work for me..

If you call Sanger I am sure they can sell you some Silver Cloud.

in my first post with the deck it had the old straps so you can see the difference, now its sooo much easier to open the hatches..

Here's a picture of my new D215 - I think that it's the only D215 on the East Coast.

I have more pictures at:

O.K., So very important question. I am going to have a house built. It is not that expensive to have them extend my garage. What is the length of the V-215 with trailor and swim step? What lenght, width, height of garage do I need to go with? The builer already recomended that I moved the garage door header up 1 ft. so that make it 9' feet tall. The standard garage bay is 20'x10' I think.

Craig,
My garage is 24x28 deep.My 215 fits with the teak deck 2" from back wall and the trailer hitch has about 8" clear up front.I have 10' ceilings and the tower has to be folded down.If your building new I would go as big as you can.I wish I could have done 28x30 now.
