I ride a Ronix District 2016 with 1" fins currently. I believe they are rail fins, they are whatever comes standard. Iv'e found surface tricks difficult and want to grab some smaller fins. Do intermediate to pro riders use .6" or .8" fins behind a boat?

It’s all preference. Everyone will have difference in how they ride and their skill level. Best thing to do would be try both. I ride the .8s on most of my boards. I find the 1 inches have too much bite for me when spinning off the Wake, that being said I usually start my spins a bit earlier than I should. To be perfectly honest you shouldn’t have to rely on fins at all just the edge of the board. Yes, fins help track but it should be what you rely on. Hope this helps.

I use 0.8 fins because it allows better boardslides and flat work
