96 VLX...ok so they worked when I bought it two months ago...now they rarely read unless I am going around 30 in which they read 5/10....

I have heard they get dirty...is this common, how can I fix them?
Thanks!

Backing up for a way may clear the pitot or a staightened paper clip gently pushed through the back might clear them.

Use a very small paper clip. They also make a tool that cleans them out. You can get one from the dealer. It looks like a super small drill drill bit.
