Help weight a Supra Sunsport 24V

I just got to ride with a guy that is just starting to surf and trying to get his wave dialed in. He has a 08 Supra 24V. He had 1100lbs in the port rear locker, and a 750 on top of that (not completely full), a 400 under seat in front of rear locker and 500 or so in belly tank. No weight up front. Plate about half way. 11.8 mph.

The wave was clean, had decent push, but was shorter than I thought it should be. We were just out for a little while, so I didn't get to try the goofy side, but figure if I can get some tips from you guys it will save us time next sesh.

So all you Supra owners chime in a give me some references!

Sounds very stern heavy. If you put more weight in the bow it should lengthen the pocket. Never been in a Sunsport 24v but it is a general rule.. Did you take any pictures?

It was 60 degrees and windy, I didn't bother to take pics. I thought it's light up front too, but it's his boat. And I think the front belly tank will hold 1100lbs of water. I'll try take pics next time. It wasn't a bad wave, I'm just looking to help him get the best ride.... thanks.

I put my 1150 in the rear locker but it cannot get full, maybe 900. A 750 on the floor, another 750 on the seat beside/above the one on the floor. Then I had a 400 in the bow. I am going to get a 1000 triangle and add that to the mix next year. You definitely need more weight up front to make it longer and bring the plate all the way up.

Also, it helps to have 900lbs between 3 guys!

My 87 Saltare has the same hull design and adding weight to the front has never, ever, ever helped me. I run 1800lbs all in the back port side and I'm pretty happy with the wake -- it basically sits just like Nicks boat does when it's loaded up.
