...wakeboard vicariously through others. I tore my medial meniscus my first pull at SpringRide this year. I'm able to still get out there and cruise, so I was stoked when my son stepped up and wanted to ride, even in CIE style!

I was thinking about this-- would it make the ride easier on the little guy to maybe add some foam grip to the top of the board (in between your bindings), like on a snowboard (you know what i mean?)--- just in case I ever have the same opportunity.

Brian, funny you mention that. My son and I were just talking about that very idea. We are going to take one of my old boards and put GATOR GRIP between the binding from rail-to-rail. It should get plenty of use since I have two more younger boys that will probably start of this way.

Just seems like it would be a lot of fun, and a great way for a youngster to get a bit of the boarding experience. I recall the first time i waterskiied (20 years ago) was in front of my pa, standing on the skis... amazing fun!

Tim, in the 3rd pic, I swear to god you look just like Woody from Cheers. Anybody else agree?

Ron its really easy. Have the child put his feet next to yours in the middle of the board and hold the handle with you. When laying back in the water, support him or her with your thighs and abdomen. Be prepared for your hamstrings-quads to be on fire by the time their done. The lower speed and bending over just kills you!

When you can't wakeboard...

I ask my wife... why not baby? It's not fair!

I'm with attila. Although they tend to get mad if like wakeboarding more than sex.
