In January, I had an opportunity to visit Florida on business. I posted a thread here; looking for a pull. Craig Butinsky responded; he invited me out on their SLAMMED Super Air, on their private lake! The Butinsky family was extremely hospitable. I rode with them for two days, hung out at there home, and got to film Justin!! Check out the video of Justin. You won't be disappointed!! Keep an eye out for the Osmosis 540. I slowed it down for ya! Thank you Justin and Craig! Good luck on the PWT this year!!

J-Rod, great video...one of the best I have seen in a while! Just make me realize how great this site is and how cool most of the people are on here. I have met some great friends on this site. Thanks Dave!

Still can't believe Justin wasn't wearing a life jacket.

Sick video and incredibly sick riding! Well worth the 45 min download.

J-Rod, I wanted to Thank You for taking the time to edit the video and posting it on Wakeworld. You did a great job taking and editing the video, you need to change your profession! It was a real pleasure having you over to ride with us. Life is short, so live it to the best of your ability and most of all, have fun, laugh, smile and invite others, it make other folks wonder what your up too! Wakeboarding is about having a great time expressing yourself and sometimes making a fool of yourself with friends and family. Justin and I have enjoyed having riders post request from others states and countries and having them over to ride with us. Hopefully Justin shoulder recovery from his skateboarding accident won't side line for too much of the wakeboard season.

Thanks everyone. It's easier to make a good vid when the riding is sick. Anytime Craig.

Did I forget to mention that Justin's dad can bust Backrolls! Like father like son.

Dang. I wish my dad would even try to wakeboard! That is tight Craig! Sick riding and awsome editing JRod.

That osmosis 540 was so awesome! That video gets me amped and wanting to get out their and ride. What kind of wakeboard were you using? Thanks for giving me something good to watch at work :-)

Mango, Justin is riding a hyperlite byerly in that video. Thank you!

Bennett, I enjoy riding, I get really angry when I don't ride at least once a week. I'd be trying more inverts but I have bad knees from Professional Barefooting back when I was my sons age. When Justin started riding 4 1/2 years ago, Justin was afraid to try an invert, I could do backrolls on the trick ski so it was pretty easy for me to land a backroll on a wakeboard, Justin couldn't be outdone by Pops, so he had to go out a land one, he's never looked back since. I'm going to do a raley before the summers out, when you my age knowing what I know now, it's not just harder physically but mentally but Pops is going to do it, I'll post the video when I accomplish it!
Old     (tparider)      Join Date: Aug 2003       03-10-2004, 1:03 PM Reply
That was some sweet riding. Didn't anyone catch that suicide raley? Damn, I thought only Adkison did that move...

Seriously a great video job too J-Rod. I have to say that you're really good on the editing and content -- and I know I've said this before, but your Summer 2003 video was probably the best wakeboard video I've ever seen. You want to talk about epitomizing the sport and lifestyle, that's the video for sure.

Old     (jarrod)      Join Date: May 2003       03-10-2004, 2:41 PM Reply
Thanks David! That's cool of you to say that. I wish I could edit for a living.

Justin was pulling those Suicide Raleys all day long. He made them look easy.
Old    gw_mark            03-10-2004, 7:59 PM Reply
Sweet riding, the tricks he was pulling were sick! Suicide Raley? Are you kidding me?
How old is Justin? I have been doing this for 13 years and I can't do half that stuff, but I am with you Craig, I want to learn those raleys soon too. Also, why is Justin not wearing a life jacket?
Old     (olddude)      Join Date: Oct 2003       03-11-2004, 4:44 AM Reply
Hi Mark, Justin is 19, his wetsuit/drysuit floats him in case of emergency, when he rides without a wetsuit, he never rides without a vest especially since 2 years ago while practicing for worlds, his riding buddy did a hugh switch backside 3 and rotated 45 degrees too much, I heard a loud slap and it wasn't Tim board, it was his body, I looked in the mirror cause I expect a wave saying your OK when someone has a bad fall, Tim waved and as I was turning the boat around, Tim was laying face down in the water, we immediatly went to him, he was knocked out and had him in the boat before he came too! Talk about scarey. Tim remembered waving saying he was OK.
Old     (wakehype)      Join Date: Dec 2002       03-11-2004, 9:10 AM Reply
Wow. Yeah, I hate getting rocked hard. You can seriously knock yourself out! I remember once waking up on the swim deck with my board off. That is why I tend to wear a helment when I try new things. Specially a raley! *points to Craig* Be careful, they can be brutal but they feel so awsome and get you stoked.

j-rod you have all of those local delta riders up there so it shouldnt be too hard to get some good riders

Yeah that's very true. But when you're already featured in a professional quality video like Delta Sessions, it might be difficult to get their attention! That's a good idea though.

GREAT VIDEO JUSTIN.. you rip.. do you think one day if i work hard enough.. I can be as good as you... and by the way.. you need to get a surfboard so we can go again... sux you had to hurt your shoulder.. there's been some fun waves! lata

Jarrod, everytime I tried to do a toeside backroll, I end up going to revert. I tweaked my knee and haven't tried it since, that's what happens when you have old torn up knees like mine, there's some much I'd like to try but I rather ride than be laid up.
