I've got 3 bad pumps on my 2005 VLX, in and out for the bow ballast and in for the belly ballast. No information written on the pumps, brand, size etc....
I'm trying to avoid Malibu for replacements. Anyone have the brand or any info, I've got no picture cus it was left with the local dealer to try the same thing.I don't want to change the pumps just put the same stuff back without paying the full nutt to malibu. Any help?

You can replace just the motor on these pumps
don't even have to remove them

friends pumps went bad because he did not drain the water from the tanks and it froze over the winter killing all three drain pumps
$70 dollars fixed all three pumps ( new cartridges)
best equipment still has to be maintained

I would remove the pump motor check for debris and worse case if motor is gone buy new motor
easy to do don't even have to remove the pump

You should be able to replace them with the Attwood Tsunami 800gph pumps. They use 3/4" openings.

I just replaced my bow ballast drain and fill with Tsunami 800gph pumps from Wakemakers. Works great.
Like Spencer said, they use 3/4" outlets so it fits right into the factory lines. Very easy install.

Attwood Tsunami T800 Pumps are a direct replacement for the factory Malibu pumps, and have replaceable cartridges, so you can change out the motor if one fails again without having to replace the entire pump.

I was thinking of adding another intake pump to my 02 Supra SSV to fill the front ballast. Is there a way to fix this T800 pump in place permanently?
