anyone else excited about the passing of labor day. fall riding is my favorite; a bag full of tricks, empty lakes, temps still in the 100's thru the end of october(im in arizona), plenty of time still to progress my riding.

Yep I'm with you Alan! Phoenix also. Fall and Winter is where I usually learn my new stuff. I didn't learn much this summer despite going almost every weekend. I guess I got a lot more comfortable riding switch in chop. That should come in handy down the road I think. Enjoy that winter butter! One thing I'll miss from summer is the boat bun. Just can't seem to get them out in 50deg weather

I look forward to not being able to have kids for the next two months...that's a good thing to me though - low's in the mid 30's this weekend at the riding spot. Oh, and by the way Alan, you can stick it with your 'cold' weather riding ahah, jk

We went tonight...1 jetskier, 2 fishermen, and 1 other boarder...Wed night usually was 3-5 wakeboats + all the other crazos... The lack of others on the water just makes it so peaceful...gotta love it.

Oh yea let the fall season begin. I might be able to push it until mid OCT depends on the low temps going over the mountian.

A-Men my brothers! Fall riding is the best! Water is warm, air is crisp and the lakes are empty!

Aww yeah, we only saw one other boat on the lake last night. Killer water & a bunch of new tricks being thrown by me & my crew. Let the progression begin!

Later to the powerturners, the fakeboats who cut you off and throw rollers into your butter, the f'ing PWC idiots, obnoxious people all over your campsite..... Hello to cool air, warm water, empty lakes, and riding until you can barely hang on any more.

september has always been my favorite month to ride - just easier (warmer) now that I am in TX. Same here - weekends are already thinning out as school starts. Always good to make it to sep and still be able to ride (minimal injuries - knock on wood!)

Im with Jay on this one. I am in Michigan, but I plan on riding until late October. I want to get some mileage on my new ride...the 08 Murray when it comes in.....beginning October to mid October. So I plan on killing it for a while longer.

You bet. Except this year they drained the lake so low the entire lake is 5 mph to protect some f*&%#@ing minnow in the river, or something stupid like that.Errrrrrrrrr!

I always wait util this time of year to take my vacation. All the kids are back in school and the weather is still warm. I get nine days of riding without anyone around starting this weekend. I can't wait.

I'm in, but unfortunately they decided to close Lake Sonoma after Labor Day this year. Some alien plant in the water they need to eradicate. Props break it up and make it multiply faster or something like that. Anyway, all those fall riders who used to go there will have to go to the Delta, Clear Lake or Berryessa; all of which I hear are really nice in the fall.

I look forward to each summer...with anticipation and glee It's peak Wake Season...for my crew and me But when Memorial Day comes....it brings out warm air, Jet Skis, Tubes, and the Stupids So many sets ruined....my love for wake won't even be saved by Cupid! BUT Labor Day comes and all looks bright! Crisp air, slick water, and sets that last til night. If there's one thing I know.....it's the best time of year. Say goodbye to all the crazies....all loaded on crack and beer!!!! Ride long and hard, all day and night......til shrinkage sets in! As fun as it is, there will come a day...when even a wetsuit is too thin! WakeWorlders know, what Fall means to us....we are the core of the sport. So enjoy the days and take advantage....and see how many times you can grind the Pontoon Ports!
