Not anywhere near a cable park such as OWC, just curious, how fast do the cables pull? In videos it looks a bit slower than boat speeds. I guess the speed may be slower because he wake is out of the equation?

I would say OWC is the fastest of the cables I have been on and would say it is prob 21 mph

i think most are 19mph, OWC definitely feels faster though.

KCW runs at 18mph. Went to OWC last month and the website says the advanced cable runs at 20mph and the beginner rides at 18. I rode both and asked the guy why the advanced seemed soooo much faster and right then a local asked if he slowed it down as he felt he was dragging. The guy replied saying he did turn it down to 24mph but if there's some quality riders, he bumps it to 27mph. Wow.

Here at Revolution Cable we run at 18.6 mph, OWC runs a little faster around 20-21 but be careful cause they measure theirs in kph not mph, TSR runs at around 20 mph and KCW around 18-19mph. Slower speeds because of the massive upward pull, which you don't quite get behind the boat

IIRC the OWC advanced cable usually runs at 32kph or about 20 mph. I'd be real surprised if it ever went 27 mph unless the park was empty and the only people there requested it. 24 mph would be running real fast, hardly dragging.

I know when Toxis and I were at OWC that sucker was MOVING!!! Not sure of the actual speed but I know it was ALOT faster than KCW. It took the whole 2 hours to get accustomed to it. Well that and I haven't ridden since early October. I'm sure once I got used to it I would've really liked it. KCW is going to feel slow when we get back on it in April. Few more weeks, DAMN I'M EXCITED!!!!!! Cable is so much fun!!

OWC is measured in KPH
The slider side is 32kph (19.8mph)
Beginner side is 28kph (17.3mph)

Toxis: you probably got confused with the kph/mph thing. If you were going 27mph on the slider side you'd be gapping the a-frame and flying around the corner off the kicker. Which would be pretty dam fun
