all i have to say about that is, michigan? it's too cold there to build a community like that all the way up they! , but other than the location it seems like a pretty cool idea.

Thats a sweet idea, id love it if there was one in nebraska, the only problem is the water would probably always be choppy...

I wonder how many of these ideas fall through. They all seem like a good idea, but I have seen some basically go dry, with home/property values going to crap.

I wonder if they have permission to use Mastercrafts images for the web site?

Thanks for the plug. I am the developer. We have full funding and have the first phase 25% sold out in the first 3 weeks of offering.

Yes, we do have MasterCrafts permission. They will, through Action Watersports of Hudsonville, have a sales outlet, service center, and pro shop on site.

No turn islands. Too much of a maintenance pain and the effect is marginal at best if you do a proper turn at the end.

As for the climate - I have lived in So Cal, Texas, and N Carolina. I would not trade the MI summer for anything. The winters...another story. We ride April - Nov/Dec. No wetsuits May-early Oct.

If you have questions, let me know. This is a high-end site for high-end users.

Very nice design. I have a somewhat similar concept but yours is much more thought out and nicer. I like the fingers as apposed to one single lake or a lake divided by an island. What's the site acreage?

I have a friend that is Building something similar without all the comercial stuff in Nor-Cal, Middletown to be exact. $500,000 for a 3/4 acre lot. And its one ski/wakeboard(15ft deep)Lake insted of channels.

The site is 158 acres. The lake is 80 acres.

Most lots on Placid Waters are $300,000. A few are $500,000.
