No specifics. I was just recently looking for a winch to pull our boat on a lift, up a 75' track into the boat house we keep it in.

You guys all assumed it was that type of winch, I only asked for clarification before I went and offered a solution that didn't help with the problem.

Now that I see it was that type of winch, I won't offer any solutions because I dont' have any experience with them. I do have some experience with the type I was looking for as we already killed one and darn near killed a boat due to terrible advice from a winch salesman. Just trying to help out!

So there are no other companies known that make a winch besides black box winch?
