I replaced 07 CT Watsons with 08s on my 142 Watson. Even though there is a method to offset the new plates, I can not set the boots out to the widest bolt pattern, the distance between the bolts is less on the new plates.
It seemed to ride fine (great really), but I have some knee pain I usually dont have

is your watson 142 a 08? if not then just put it on the next to last hole out and it should be fine, if not wider because of the plate

Hey Dave,
did you try to turn the base plate over to the the other mounting position? I had to do the same thing with my bindings but as you know I'm riding a 138.

Its an 07, I just looked and the 08 have only 3 holes on the tip and tail and 4 on the inside,
that explains it
thanks,
and Allen, I did flip them over, thanks for the thought
