If it's the mesh version, you might want to watch out for the mesh area and if there's some sort of toe cap. I almost think that shoe is primarily mesh...the mesh can wear out easily in the ollie area. If it's the standard drake, then I'd say yes because I've wakeskated in normal skate shoes and the only big deal is drying them out so they don't smell like arse, but that's something a fan can fix.

a mesh DVS shoe I like is the triumph. I just bought a pair and tried them out last week and they were sick. They pretty much have mesh where you need it (ie not in the ollie area) and the rest looks like a normal skate shoe. Anyway, i'd highly recommend those if you're looking for a quick drying shoe that's really freaking light, like it's so light "I could sneak up on small game and kill it with my bare hands."

Yes, they're that light. I almost caught a deer and bit it in the neck.

You don't even know the half Trevor, there is more to E-snow then you can even imagine
