anybody ride in this area?
im starting at grand valley state in the fall and i was wondering if anybody rides out here
let me know if your around, and i'd be more than happy to have you out on my boat if your ever on my side of town

I ride in and around GR. Plenty of lakes around the city, though I have been riding on some southern lakes lately. PM me if you ever want a pull

Alex,
There are quite a few lakes around the area. Grand Valley has a ski team. If your looking to consistently get out on the water they have access to placid waters which is a 6 lake private community. Otherwise like I said, there are multiple lakes in the area and you can probably get some rides in if you cover some gas.

As Kevin said, lots of action around Grand Valley. The GVSU Ski Team trains at my place (www.placidwaters.com) and the local gravel pits has plenty of riders - just 6 miles from campus.

I go to Gobles every summer, its 5 mins from Kalamazoo and like 45 mins from Grand Rapids
