Rixen has everything you would need... I would say it is not worth the extra two hours.

Rixen is fun! If you're a first timer it's all you'll need!

I prefer Ski Rixen over OWC, and I don't care what anyone else has to say about it... 4 corners is plenty, the kicker is way better, Rixen is higher than OWC, and you won't have a disease the next morning... Plus, it can get much colder in Orlando even though it is only a few hours north

I plan to hit Ft Myers for my first time the day after Thanksgiving. It's been a while since I've been to Rixen, but I don't like it near as much as OWC. The cable ran slower, they had a 3 lap limit, and the layout of the obstacles wasn't as good. But that may have changed. I didn't notice that the cable was higher at all. And walking back with your bare feet on those little pine dropping was a b*tch.

Huh????? Yeah I agree. I've had an annual pass at OWC since the first year it opened, and I've never even got so much as an earache from the water quality. Now bad falls, that's another story.

John - I'll probably run into you at Revolution next week. Being from Michigan I've never ridden a cable so it should be interesting

Roddy- You'll be fine on the cable, I get down to OWC once a year and my first time out was a breeze.. the pull is a little different than the steady/constant pull from a boat because the cable gives a little bit but other than that you'll be good shred. I also have never heard of any diseases from riding at OWC. Maybe you have some f'ed up skin then (jk). The water does get ridiculously warm to me in the summer months though, especially when the lakes in Wisco barely break 75.

OWC has much better rails. Rixen does have a fun a frame wall ride though!

Revolution is fun if you're left foot forward I think you are referring to the McCormick park in Tampa. I'm pretty sure Revolution runs counter-clockwise.
