I am looking into getting a new board. I am 6'2 and 175. What length of board should I look into getting? Will at 136cm be good for me? or do I need to get a 141cm or so?

I am 6'4" and about 200 lbs and ride 140, 141, and 142's. I have ridden as small as a 135 and it was fun, but I didn't feel that stable on it, I plan on trying out my buddies 144 Natural this summer, but I would suggest a 141.

Why do most of all the pros ride such big boards. I mean most of them are barely 5'3" and under about 150 but a lot of them seem to be riding boards 140 cm and bigger. I myself am 6'1" and about 220 and I ride between 140's and 142's. Should I try something bigger? I seem to like the size I ride now but how much of a difference would there be in the biggest ERA, 142 is what I have now. Sorry for the Hi-jack but its kind of on topic.

the bigger the board is in proportion to your body size can mean softer landings, more control/stability...maybe even more pop with the extra surface area.
