Just picked up new ride. Very Mint 08 SANTE. Removed the tanks and put some 900's back there and piggy backed a locker sac. Running about 300 lbs pop bags in nose as well. I currently have the 1465 on there. I have read done older threads about the 1235 "possibly" causing gel burn. I have a spare 1235 sitting in my garage was thinking of popping on.

Acme is recommending the 1617 which is a newer prop of 14X13.75
Or if I really want to get rolling the 2571 which is 14X12

I think that 2571 will be overkill and at a 5-6 mph top end loss not sure it's for me as I still take a occasional slalom set .

Thoughts?????

I re propped this year for my 2008 sante 210 and am running ACME 1433 4 Blade 14" x 14.25" Propeller. I really like it. Because I have an occasional skier i did not want to go to the 1617.

There were posts on Planet about the 1235 causing prop burn on the hull . Best bet is to check with Acme for a recommendation.

1617 or 1433 are awesome props. I really think a 14x12 is going to be overkill and probably max speed of about 34 mph. I run 3k lbs of ballast in mine with the 1617 and it is perfect.

1235 will cause prop burn. I know people that run it anyway though. I'm sure it would be fine in a pinch.

Pulled my brother on a slalom this weekend. 36 mph was just shy of 4900 rpm with the stock 1579 prop (I switched back to stock because he was going to be in town). The boat will go faster than that, but not with a slalom skier back there who pulls really hard. So, the 1617 would be well over 5k rpm.

If you're wanting to ski at all, I would recommend the 1433. It will get the boat up no problem with the amount of ballast you're running.

I own a 2010 210 and this summer put the 1235 prop on it, even though it can cause prop burn. I can fix that or inlay some 303 stainless into the gel.
Definitely test the 1235, it will not instantly cause a burn. It is the prop Correct Craft puts on their test 210's (I have read).
I run less total ballast than you (2 X 400 LB bags in back) but I am very glad I went to the 1235. It was a significant improvement over the stock prop.
The 1235 is 1 inch greater diameter so make sure you have enough gap for your trailer. The 1235 will leave you with a 5/8 clearance to your hull.
It has reduced my engine RPM by 200 RPM approx. when WB and surfing, yet the engine is not straining.
Also if your wake is not working on your 210, you prolly need more ballast in the nose- surf, wake whatever.
