Today I snapped a second Accurate X-Line in half, losing the handle end both times. So now I'm left with half a rope, and I am really sick of this. I love the handle, but I need a different mainline. Suggestions?

Lose some weight? Haha, just kidding.

How the heck are you breaking lines? Are they breaking in the same spot? I've had my Accurate for years and don't think I'm even close to breaking it. Guess I'm not loading it like you are.

time to get a handle that floats! hahahaha

Seriously though are you getting knots in your rope??? Are you using it as a Surf rope at all or tying it off at any spots you shouldn't be? I have had a bunch of ropes break over the years, freak you out! Always happens when you have the rope fully loaded! I notice one summer when we surfed all the time that the ropes would break after tying hitch knots in them a bunch of times to shorten the line up.
