If you are hitting kickers, I would assume you potentially could have more of a risk of blowing an acl. A lot of kickers, throw you straight up and you land really flat, which is just begging for a blown knee.

I've seen a ton of guys get their knees killed on cable...including myself.

Well that explains it...its just not that good for any of us. There's 2 people in the world that really love wakeboarding! Us..the wakeboarding community....and Orthopedic Surgeons!!

I haven't killed mine, but tweaked the crap out of them off a kicker on the cable

I stiff legged a landing off an A-Frame at the cable and jammed my knee hard. It took nearly 2 years before any hint of pain finally went away. But required no medical treatment.

i never thought cable had too much potential for injury....until friday. I got one hell of a concussion, floated face up for about 2 minutes.... my guess you could definitely suffer knee injuries. but i have a friend who doesn't ride boat anymore, just cable, because he has already had many knee problems
