So Saturday was my 1st wedding anniversary, and my wife called me in the early afternoon while out running errands with my mom saying she had trouble starting the car after leaving a store, but everything was fine. She called me again about an hour later and said the car had broken down on her way back home, albeit only one street over, and would I to meet her outside to walk over to the car and see what was wrong. We went outside, and sure enough, the car was parked down the street and just around the corner. As we began walking down the street toward it, it started pulling around the corner (my mom was driving it), and behind it was a 2005 Wakesetter LSV. I don't think she'll ever be able to top this one!!!

Feeling nothing but hate for you. She must have done something really bad to feel guilty enough to get you a boat. I'd get Maury or Montel on the phone right away.

Your wife is smart....you'll owe her for about the next 25 years, unless you were prepared and bought her her own spa, or private island, or something as her anniversary present. Congrats on the boat, and happy anniversary!

GREAT STORY and GREAT looking boat.

Nice read for my early morning workday.

Congrats David, not only on the boat, but the 1 year anniversary & having a what sounds like a wonderful wife. You should print this thread out for what I assume is your better half.....

David - You are ruining this thing for the rest of us. Giving her a diamond band makes the rest of us men look bad. I believe the 1st Anniversary you give your wife a Card, and maybe flowers no matter what she gives you. This way when 10 years rolls around A Vacuum and a mop as gifts aren't so bad. She will continue to give great gifts to show you up, and the rest of us husbands aren't put to shame.

Awesome wife and boat!!!

ps - is your mother in law single?

holy-batboat! what a great looking ride. SHe's a keeper for sure, there's only one thing better than buying a new boat, and that's having someone buy it for you, what a jesture! I think you should buy her a 40ft diesel Pusher Quad Slide for her birthday.
