Just got off the phone with Progressive, slightly less than $400 w/ pretty high limits, added as second boat to existing policy. BTW it's a 2004 X-Star...

I have my 2004 X-Star done thorought SkiSafe, the same place that Big Dog had posted. My boat is well loaded with the options and I only pay $397 a year. The issue with progressive is that the devalue everything on the boat when you make a claim, skisafe does not. I work in the industry and have seen progressive devalue a strut, skisafe just pays and they are reasonable price wise.

Jay, I thought if you have an agreed value policy they can't devalue the boat.

Am I misunderstanding what agreed value means?

Hopefully I'll never have to file a claim.

$397 sounds like a good deal, Boat US thru West Marine quoted me $700+. Progressive was a joke....$2k+ !!! As I'm from Scotland and have limited Insurance record here will no doubt have to pay a bit extra.
