2008 Slingshot with 2008 Shane bindings

So, I got the 2008 Slingshot, and I'm a huge fan of the board, but not so much a fan of the Bindings. I don't want to return it cause I got a great deal on the setup. I am getting some '08 Shane bindings in late February from some '06's that messed up, so they are hooking me up with a new pair of them. I was wondering, if I put the '08 shanes on the '08 slingshot, how much is it actually going to hurt the flex of the board?

I don't think that it will hurt all that much. I belive that I read somewhere that the 08 LF bindings can come with a 6 or 8 inch plate and that will most def. help out on preserving some flex. It would be cool to hear from someone who has rode the boards with some other brand bindings on it.

Cool, I was thinking about putting the '08 Limited Shanes on it, (the baby blue ones) The 138 slingshot hass about the same color blue on it, I hope it won't clash. lol.

i am riding a 08 slingshot with liquid force transit magnums.. flex is still great.. i have not ridden it with the slingshot bindings.. but it still gets more flex than when i rode my roam with the transits..

yea, I think I am. I gotta wait till late February till I get the limited ones, but I sure will post up a pic. It's either those or just the plain black 08's. I'm leaning toward the baby blue ones though.

looks like it will be PERFECT (granted they are both just pics, and things are different in person... but how much different could it be other than more perfect?!?!

If i didn't like the slingshot boots so much and if i didnt like the 142 better i would probably do the same. nice idea. very nice!

no prob. I was too excited to wait for pics to get a basic idea... then i posted it to help 100% convince ya.
cant wait to see the real pics
and maybe the real set-up if your ever in Powell this summer after may ;)
