2010 ronix viva or 2010 ronix mana.

Ive always rode continuous boards but want a 3stage pop.. the video of the viva says that its a continuous board with the pop of a 3 stage.. and the mana is well very poppy.. both are $200 and im torn between the two

I would say the Viva over the Mana. The 2010 Mana looks awesome but is not a very good board. It is super slow and lands like lead brick. One of my friends has a Mana as a backup board. I hated it when I rode it. He just recently had to go back to it when he broke his Tribute and said it still sucks.

I have tried the Viva and found it to be a really fun board. It's a little like a HL Murray but looser. It still rails into the wake when its on edge. Its a fast fun board. Hope this helps!

According to Ronix, every Ronix has the pop of a 3-stage and the speed of a continuous. Make no mistake: you will lose some pop with the Viva and you will lose some speed/consistency with the Mana. Which is more important to you?

If you want a board that feels very much like a 3 stage, then the Mana is your best bet by far. Other than the one poster, I've never met anyone that didn't like it. Very good all around board. Viva feels really fast, but the Mana doesn't feel too slow to me.

I'm told the Mana has the most aggressive rocker line of any board out there right now. It's a TRUE 3-stage. Just look at one from the side. It's kinked like a freakin' skateboard! I've always wanted to ride one, but I haven't gotten the chance yet.

I have not ridden the 2011 or 2012 Mana. I believe Ronix redesigned the Mana in 2011 and the shape carried over to 2012.

The 3 stage doesn't seem to be as abrupt in the 2010 as it is in the 2011. I know the new ones have a huge 3 stage to them.

I personally like a fast continuous rocker board so the Mana was the right fit for me. I'm sure plenty of people do like the board. Dean Smith is a beast behind the boat/cable/kicker and he rides one!

the 2010 and 2011 Mana's are really very different. Not too sure why they kept the same name.

2010 and 2011 Viva changed shape dramatically aswell and went for a more aggressive rocker.

Word, I was talking about the 2011 Mana. Maybe the 2010 will be a more balanced ride.

What about a One? Its not super fast but it has great pop and is very controlled. I used to ride an 07 one it was a great deck.

Hell yea. That board took me to my first invert, my first spin, and my first win in competition. It's a kickass ride: really hard to beat that combination of speed, pop, and looseness.

Lol ya, the Harley is a killer boat board but my Slingshot is a much better all-rounder.
